As we navigate through the complexities of our spiritual journey, I am reminded of the profound truth that the devil does not rest, especially when we are on the verge of stepping into the divine destiny God has for us. Today, I want to share with you a message of vigilance, empowerment, and victory.
The Warrior Bride: Standing Firm in Faith
We are the Warrior Bride of Christ, called to be vigilant and courageous. In these times, we see an increase in family warfare, with attacks manifesting in various forms—estranged relationships, the grief of loss, and even spiritual heaviness that can border on the demonic. It’s crucial to recognize these challenges not as mere coincidences but as targeted strikes from an enemy who seeks to derail us from our God-given path.
Confronting the Jezebel Spirit
A particular challenge we face in this spiritual warfare is the Jezebel spirit. This gender-neutral entity is known for its seductive, manipulative, and controlling nature. It preys on the prophetic, those with a heart for ministry and family. This spirit seeks power and authority, thriving where boundaries are weak or non-existent.
We must learn to engage with the spirit, not the person influenced by it. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12). The Jezebel spirit intimidates and seeks a passive host to establish its agenda. It’s time we stop tolerating and start setting healthy boundaries.
Laying Boundaries: The Way Out
Setting boundaries is essential in our spiritual life. It’s not just about saying no; it’s about recognizing where we end, and others begin. When dealing with manipulative spirits like Jezebel, boundaries become our shield. This is how we prevent ourselves from becoming a passive power base for such spirits.
The Word of God: Our Motive, Not Just a Weapon
As we stand firm, let us remember that the Word of God is not just a weapon; it's a guide for our motives and actions. Our fight against spirits like Jezebel isn’t just about confrontation; it’s about aligning our hearts with God’s heart.
Addressing the Roots: From Orphan to Heir
At the root of many of these spiritual battles is the orphan spirit—a direct result of Satan’s deception in the Garden of Eden. This spirit breeds independence and rebellion, often rooted in a lack of understanding of God’s love for us. As children of God, we are called to move from an orphan mindset to one of a cherished heir.
The Allure of Witchcraft and the Religious Spirit
We must also be aware of the subtle encroachments of witchcraft and the religious spirit in our communities. Practices like the use of the third eye, chakras, burning sage, and other occult activities are not of God and can lead us away from the truth. These practices seek to dominate and control, pulling us away from the liberty we have in Christ.
Our Victory in Christ
Despite these challenges, let us not forget that God is victorious in every situation. We are called to stand up, speak truth, use our voice, and live in freedom. Our journey is not one of passivity but of active engagement in the spiritual realm, grounded in the knowledge that we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us (Romans 8:37).
Call to Action
As we move forward in 2024, let’s commit to these principles:
1. Recognize and confront the spiritual battles we face.
2. Set healthy boundaries against manipulative and controlling spirits.
3. Ground our actions in the love and Word of God.
4. Reject the orphan spirit and embrace our identity as God’s beloved.
5. Stay vigilant against the allure of non-biblical practices.
6. Proclaim and live in the victory we have in Christ.
Together, as the Warrior Bride of Christ, we will march forward, not in fear, but in the power and love of our Almighty God.
